Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 1 August 2026

Welcome to Flink Travel ("we," "us," or "our"), a brand owned by Flink Innovations. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you visit our website (flink.travel).

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the website, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, subscribing to our newsletter, or contacting us.

Personal Data

Names, email addresses, and contact preferences. In the future, if you purchase custom itineraries or digital products, we will collect billing and payment information securely through our payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.

Usage Data

When you visit our site, our hosting and error-monitoring services automatically process technical information needed to deliver the site and keep it working, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and language. If you accept analytics, we also collect information about how you use our site, as described in section 2.

2. Cookies, Analytics and Affiliate Tracking

We keep cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser’s local storage) to a minimum. You decide whether we use analytics, and you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Essential Cookies

These keep the site working. For example, a cookie named flink_consent remembers your analytics choice for 12 months, and, once accounts are available, essential cookies will keep you signed in. They are always on because the site needs them, and they are not used for analytics or advertising.

Analytics (PostHog)

If you click "Accept," we use PostHog to understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve our itineraries and pages. PostHog records the pages and itineraries you view, searches you make on our site (with email addresses and long numbers removed), clicks on links and buttons, how quickly pages load, the website or campaign that brought you to us, and your approximate location (such as your country). It uses cookies and your browser’s local storage to recognize your browser between visits.

We do not record what you type into forms, we do not record your screen or sessions, and we do not use analytics for advertising. Nothing from PostHog loads until you accept. If you decline, or later change your choice in Cookie settings, analytics stops and the PostHog cookies and data stored in your browser are deleted.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as your choice to decline analytics.

Error Monitoring (Sentry)

We use Sentry to find and fix errors on our site. When something goes wrong, Sentry receives technical details such as the page address (without any search terms), your browser and device type, and a description of the error. Sentry does not use cookies, and we set it up so that it does not receive your name, email address, IP address, or anything you type, and does not record sessions.

Flink Travel participates in various affiliate marketing programs (such as Booking.com, Hotels.com, and others). When you click on an affiliate link, a tracking cookie is placed on your browser to ensure we receive a commission for any resulting sales. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and we do not have access to or control over the cookies they use.

Links that earn us a commission are labeled on our pages. Maps from our partner Stay22 load only when you choose to open them.

Where This Data Is Processed

Our analytics and error-monitoring providers process data in the United States. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect or receive to:

  • Deliver and facilitate the delivery of services to you (e.g., digital itinerary downloads).
  • Send you marketing and promotional communications (you can opt-out at any time).
  • Fulfill and manage your orders, payments, and refunds.
  • Administer our website and keep it secure.
  • Find and fix errors, and, if you accept analytics, understand how our site is used so we can improve it.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We may share data with third-party vendors, service providers, or contractors who perform services for us (e.g., email delivery, web hosting, payment processing, analytics, and error monitoring).

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (such as under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request access and obtain a copy of your personal information.
  • Request rectification or erasure of your data.
  • Restrict the processing of your personal information.
  • Opt-out of marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our emails.
  • Withdraw your consent to analytics at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
